Welcome Riese & Müller!

Riese & Müller is NOW available at your Local Worker Co-op!

You read that right! We're happy to announce that Urbane Cyclist is the newest Canadian dealer for the renowned German electric cargo bike brand, Riese & Müller. R&M have been industry leaders in the realm of e-cargo for many years now and feature some of the most premium, thoughtfully designed electric bikes in the world. Their products are all assembled at their state of the art campus in Darmstadt and are highly customizable to suit any individual preferences. Their catalog features a wide range of models like the front loader "bakfiets" style Load 60 and 75, the versatile Nevo4  super commuter, all the way down to the compact Tinker2 mini-velo.

All their bikes use the ever-reliable Bosch Pedal Assist system and have a range of great accessories that can help personalize the experience of each of their wonderful offerings. The drivetrain options include standard 10 and 11 speed derailleur systems, Shimano Alfine 8 speed internally geared hubs, Enviolo continuously variable and Automatiq hubs, and even the prestigious Rohloff 14 Speedhub. Whether you are looking for a car replacement to carry kids and do groceries with or a durable electric commuter to get you around the city, Riese & Müller have got you covered. These bikes are perfect for urban living and we are so excited to have them on in our store in the coming months.

We have a select few bikes being built for test rides and some pre-configured packages that will be arriving in early 2024. We're particularly excited to be bringing in their newest model, the Culture and Culture Mixte, which is a lightweight commuter with a classy, minimalist design that's packed with a lot of function. If you're curious about these bikes be sure to drop in or give us a call and our team would be happy to answer any questions you might have. With these bike deliveries coming from Germany it's best to plan ahead to make sure you'll have your brand new bike in time for the upcoming season.
