1 I want to buy a new bike!
1.1 Do you have this bike in stock?

If the bike is "In Stock" on our website then we've got it in stock!

If the bike you're looking for isn't in stock, send us a quick email with the model and size you're looking for and we'll let you know when it'll be back in!

1.2 Can I come in and look at some bikes?

Absolutely! But its best for us to know a few facts about you before you come in and this is why we are still operating by appointment for bike sales.

Let us know the intended use (commuting/recreation/kid hauling/cargo/sport etc), how tall you are and perhaps any "make or break" features that your next bike must have. This way we can review your request and be sure to have the bike assembled and perfectly tuned for your test ride.

1.3 I don't see a bike on your website... can you get it?

Maybe. We can get many of the bike offered by All-City, Marin, Salsa and Surly. But please note that logistical disruptions are expected to constrain the supply of new bike until at least the Spring of 2022.

 

2 What are your plans for Re-opening?
2.1 Can I come in and look around?

That depends... our bike sales and major repairs will still occur on an appointment only basis. If you'd like to schedule a test ride for a bike, please send us an email and we'll get everything ready so you can have a great test ride.

If you'd like to bring your bike in for a major repair, please book an appointment with our service department. Our skilled mechanics are in high demand, and booking an appointment will minimize your time without a bike. Small fixes like flat tires can usually be completed by drop in with a fairly fast turnaround - please just call our service department when you're outside and they'll help you out.

We will be have a walk-in queue for parts and accessory sales. Our shop will have Max of 3 customers at a time (1 for service via our East entry door, 2 for parts and accessories sales via our West entry door, beside Douglas Campbell Lane). To help manage our customers, a sales person or mechanic will still be letting each customer in/out and the door remains locked. For example, if you just need a tube and are in the area, you can wait in line and we will let you in to make the purchase once we have an associate available to help you.

2.2 When will I be able to just drop in?

We're really not sure! You can always contact your MPP to ask about Ontario's plan for re-opening.

As a worker's co-op, our top priority is the safety and health of our staff and community. If you are able to complete orders via our website, or can send us an e-mail for questions/longer part lists please do so and we would gladly help pick out and source the parts required for your DIY repair this way (plus we can have your order ready and waiting for you when you come by!). We still aim to minimize contact and make sure everyone is as safe as possible.

We really miss being able to chat with our regulars and having social visits with casual browsing (and we know we have lots of cool stuff to look at) but sadly this is still not the time for that yet! Our goal is to help our customers as much and as best we possibly; with the current restrictions we still need to keep things moving. We still have lots of nice items in stock but some stuff you really just need to get a feel for in person. If you need a helmet, shoes, or to try out the fit for some bike packing bags, we have lots of awesome stuff in available to check out we would love to show you! The better we are at reducing the spread of Covid the sooner we can get back to our regular programming and fun social stuff like our Urbane Adventure Club group rides!

3 I'm trying to order something on your webstore...
3.1 If I order for in-store pickup, how long will it take?

If everything goes smoothly, we pick and process orders in 15-30 minutes!

If if doesn't go smoothly, we will let you know by email or phone in 15-30 minutes!

3.2 I'm looking for this part on your website, and I can't find it!

Please send us an email and we'll see what we can do to get it to you!

Please note that the logistical and supply chain constraints have severely limited the availability of some general categories of parts. In particular some of chains, cassettes and bottom brackets you're used to buying from us may not be available for sale through our webstore. We are currently reserving much of this product for our service department in order to maintain the employment of the 7 people who help keep Toronto on two wheels!

3.3 When will my package get here?

We send out shipment almost everyday, and generally ship orders within 24 hours of the order being placed. We ship by Canada Post Expedited Service
