Since we opened our doors 25 years ago utility cycling was always or main focus. Making sure folks can commute to work, do their daily errands and just move around town without a motor vehicle has not only been our priority as a business but our reality as workers! All of our team at Urbane bike as our primary mode of transport so its not surprising most of us own either a cargo bike or a bike trailer or both!

So why cargo trailers?

Cargo trailers are a great way to get your feet wet and try out carrying odd sized, bulky and different things by bike. Every tried carried a case of pop in your panniers? Balanced on a rear rack? In a basket? On your back?

While possible... some of these methods are quite uncomfortable and others just straight up dangerous!

"but I have no space for a trailer!"

That's a pretty common concern and frankly a really good reason to NOT buy a cargo bike - but that's why you should check our the video below!
