Phil Wood & Co. is credited with pioneering the first modern production sealed bearing cycling components. Our bearings are manufactured for us to our specifications. We specify the race tolerance, surface honing, ball diameter tolerance, bearing material, gap dimensions, and seal specifications.

Our Standard bearings are an extremely high quality stainless steel cartridge bearing with a 100% Phil Waterproof Grease fill and have full contact seals to ensure maximum durability.

Our bearings can be used to replace bearings found in many other cycling manufacturer’s parts. Please refer to the bearing sizes to determine which bearing(s) may best meet your needs.
