C&L's beautiful Rachel step-through frame, named for the street where their flagship store is located, is back with a few improvements! Some people were using their original-run Rachels for full-on four-pannier international touring, and while the original spec was just fine for such endeavours, we decided to make some changes to make such adventures a bit easier: beefed-up tubing, more tire clearance, longer wheelbase and raised front-end for more comfort, and a few new eyelets here and there. Revised with slightly longer reach in 2023, for better comfort with swept-back handlebars.

Step-throughs also make for great cargo haulers. Those extra tubes in the rear triangle reduce flex, and stepping through a frame will almost always look better than swinging a leg over a loaded diamond frame, which can be cumbersome and isn't always elegant.

The two smaller sizes are still designed around 26" wheels, while the two larger sizes use 700c wheels. Available in Fondue brown and Monet baby blue.
