Urbane offers a few different services to help you make sure your bike has what it needs to get through the winter season safely.

If you’re not planning to ride, we offer Indoor Winter Storage, which includes a tune up so you’re ready to ride as soon as spring hits, and if you are planning to ride, we have Winterization services too!

Get 50% off a Winterization package with the purchase of any standard Tune Up package.

Book any Standard Tune Up (valued $119 or greater) and mention adding a winterization in the booking notes or in-person when dropping off the bike for 50% your Winterization package!

We recommend getting a winterization service add-on every couple years, especially for commuters or for bikes that are stored outside. Even in mild winters, metal still wants to corrode, don't give it a chance!

Winterization

We offer winterization services at two different levels, Essential and Comprehensive.

The Essential Winterization Service is ideal for bikes that are in good shape and need to be made ready for winter riding. It’s also great as an add-on to a Tune-Up package for bikes used for commuting or stored outdoors - regardless of the season!

The service includes removal, cleaning and re-greasing seat post, stem, quick releases/axle nuts, pedals, any bolts inserted in frame and lubing cables, external components, and spoke nipples.

With the Comprehensive Winterization Service, you get all of the above, along with removal, cleaning, and re-greasing your pedals, bottom bracket, and brake mounting bolts.

Indoor Winter Storage

$119 - 179

Just like winterization, winter storage is offered at two different levels, Basic and Deluxe.

Both packages include indoor storage and spring riding prep service.

The Basic Winter Storage Package will get you indoor winter storage, along with a safety check, chain lubrication, and air top up.
It‘s like dropping your puppy off at the boarder‘s and getting it back with clean paws and brushed fur.

The Deluxe Winter Storage Package gets you all the things included in the Basic package, along with the services included in our Essential Tune Up Package (valued at $119+) - a safety check, brake adjustments, shifting adjustments, bearing adjustments, wheel truing, basic lubrication, basic cleaning, tire inflation and a test ride.
This package is like getting your puppy back fully groomed, fur shampooed and trimmed, and nails trimmed neatly.

Right now, we’ve just opened up a ton of spots open on our website for service appointments in January and February. These appointments will have same-day turnaround on the services too, so it’s a great opportunity to make sure you’re commute-ready all season long with minimal time away from your bike!
