Here is a general listing of our tune up packages. Not sure which tune up is right for your bike? No problem! Just book whichever service package sounds good to you. Once you bring in your bike, we will thoroughly assess the condition of your bike and make the best recommendation for you.
We service all makes and models of bikes/trikes/tandem/electric/
If you have an issue with your electrical system that is not Shimano or Bosch (and not purchased from Urbane), we will be able to repair the mechanical components as normal but will be limited in our ability to replace parts or troubleshoot issues that require manufacturer support if needed.
Please Note: We always have room in our schedule to accommodate flat tire repairs. No appointment needed. If you have a flat tire, you can drop by whenever we're open and we'll slot it in for repair.
During our busy season (April – August) we are typically booked 2-4 weeks in advance for tune ups and other large services, so appointments are necessary for these services. With a booked appointment the turnaround is typically same-day, but may be longer for more complex services.
Prices are for standard bicycles. Surcharges may apply for cargo, electric, recumbent, and other non-standard bikes/trikes.

Tune Ups
Essential Tune Up - $119
Our most popular service package. The Essential Tune Up covers routine maintenance and adjustments commonly needed on an annual or semi-annual basis.
Includes: Customized quote, Safety Inspection service, brake and shifting adjustments, wheel truing, bearing adjustments, basic bike cleaning, lubrication of external parts, and a test ride.
Comprehensive Tune Up - $239
Our best value service package, and the favourite choice of dedicated commuters. This service is ideal for well used bikes that likely have some parts that are worn out and in need of replacement.
Includes: Everything that the Essential Tune Up covers, plus a drivetrain cleaning, and the labour to replace common wear items such as the brake pads, cables, chain, and cassette.
Deluxe Tune Up - $359
Our most detailed Tune Up Service, favoured by those who want what is best for their bikes. This service is ideal for high-mileage bikes that are ridden all year round and will benefit from detailed cleaning and may need multiple parts replacements.
The Deluxe Tune Up includes everything that the Comprehensive Tune Up covers, plus a full drivetrain overhaul (the drivetrain is fully disassembled and thoroughly cleaned in our parts washer), the labour to replace any drivetrain component, and a very thorough bicycle cleaning.
Safety Inspection - $59
This service is ideal for a bike that is still working well, but you are unsure of it's condition due to being second hand, left unused for some time, or for bikes that may have been tampered with. Part installation and major adjustments extra.
Includes: Bolt torque check with a torque wrench, minor adjustments, tire inflation and chain lubrication.
Cargo/Recumbent/E-Bike Tune Ups
For cargo, recumbent, tandem, e-bike and other non-standard bicycles/tricycles.
Essential Package ($279) includes a safety check, brake adjustments, shifting adjustments, bearing adjustments, wheel truing, basic lubrication, basic bike cleaning, drivetrain cleaning, replacement of cables/pads/chain if needed, tire inflation and a test ride. Parts not included.
Comprehensive Package ($399) includes a safety check, brake adjustments, shifting adjustments, bearing adjustments, wheel truing, basic lubrication, basic bike cleaning, drivetrain cleaning, replacement of cables/pads/chain if needed, tire inflation and a test ride. Parts not included.
Please remember to bring the battery key when dropping off electric assist bikes.
Other Services
Specific Repairs - Minimum Deposit
If you need fast turnaround on a specific service or repair, you can book "All Other Repairs" to pay the minimum deposit to hold an appointment, and fill out the form to describe the service you're looking to have performed.
Essential Winterization - $59
Ideal service for bikes that are in good shape and need to be made ready for winter riding. Also great as an add-on to a Tune Up package for bikes used for commuting or stored outdoors - regardless of the season.
Includes removal, cleaning and re-greasing seat post, stem, quick releases/axle nuts, pedals, any bolts inserted in frame and lubing cables, external components, and spoke nipples. Hardware extra.
Comprehensive Winterization - $119
The perfect service for bikes that will be used extensively over the winter months and/or stored outside. Includes removal, cleaning and re-greasing seat post, stem, quick releases/axle nuts, pedals, bottom bracket, brake mounting bolts, any bolts inserted in frame and lubing cables, external components, and spoke nipples. Hardware extra.
Drivetrain Overhaul & Cleaning - $119
Thorough drivetrain overhaul, with all drivetrain parts removed from the bike, cleaned, and reinstalled with appropriate lubricant. Includes jockey wheel service and bottom bracket removal and re-installation.
We take a $20 deposit for all appointments. This is to reserve your time with our skilled mechanics. Appointments can be cancelled or rescheduled if needed by contacting our Service Department. Please note that your deposit will be kept active if you re-schedule your appointment. Your deposit will be converted to store credit if you cancel your appointment. If you miss your appointment your deposit will be forfeited to help cover our lost time.
