HP Velotechnik Scorpion FS 20
$7,185.00
At Urbane Cyclist we have been recumbent specialists for more than a decade. We stock the most reliable and easily serviceable recumbents we can get. As such, many models are by special order only. With the Scorpion fs the roughest journey becomes an exhilarating ride. Pot holes, cobblestones, gravel roads: the condition of your way ahead can be shocking indeed. From now on you are going to look forward to ride those little sweet challenges. Once you want to leave the beaten track, you are in need of a quick responding suspension, perfect roadholding, precise steering and an optimum of steadiness. Now, the Scorpion fs is your perfect choice. The comfortable MacPherson front suspension has 6 cm (2.4 inches) of travel and uses a reliable spring and elastomer system. The Scorpion fs's most unique feature is the beefy wishbone and stabilizer bar system under the cruciform frame. This stops the trike from rolling in corners whilst preserving its suspension movement. The suspension struts are supported on the far end of the frame's rigid, large diameter crossbar close to the wheel. The adjustable whishbones are equipped with maintenance free bearings. With this design, our engineers were able to keep unsuspended masses at a minimum, achieving a rapidly responding front suspension action with an astonishing low weight from 17,6 kg for this fully suspended touring trike. The suspension preload is adjustable. By exchanging the steel springs and varying the parallely positioned MCU-elastomer / spacer stack you can adjust the suspension characteristics, stiffness and progression to match your individual riding style and needs.

Yuba Mundo Lux
$2,450.00
For the whole family The Yuba Mundo cargo bike has always been pretty killer. It fits nearly the whole family onboard--at least two kids and one adult, and maybe more if everyone is behaving. It's solid. We mean near-bulletproof solid. The thing rides like it's on a cushion of air. And it's got all the bells and whistles component-wise, which, for the rest of us, just means it works perfectly, and keeps working perfectly for years to come. Awesome What the V5 really does is hardwire awesomeness. It integrates all that was already right and makes it better, smoother, sturdier, and lighter. The result is something like a luxury car as compared to another bike company's compact sedan. Both might get you around, but only the V5 has you literally riding along thinking to yourself: "man, this thing is just made to make me happy." That's the Mundo V5: it's made to make you happy.
Surly Troll
$2,349.00
Off-road touring can be a zesty enterprise, but it’s not without its perils. Bicycles are simple machines that are extremely efficient, but all simple machines carry along with them the chance of breaking down. This efficiency can get you in trouble if your bike decides to break down far away from the comforts of your parent’s basement. If you’re going to ride your bicycles where no one can see, you better take gear that’s up to the task. Troll is up to the task. Surly's Troll was once a simple mountain bike frame with a few extras that made it nice for touring. The Troll has evolved into a frame that has been pushed deeper into the category of off-road touring. Its geometry is no longer suspension corrected, which gives it more room for a larger frame bag. The Troll is a bike that has one purpose – and that purpose is to carry you as far away from society as possible.
Yuba Boda Boda v3
$2,199.00
The Boda Boda V3 is a compact cargo bike that can take on more load than ever and still get you around with that light, frisky ride that will leave you with a little bounce in your step. While keeping the style and pep of the Boda Boda frame, we’ve added a longer and lower rear rack for stability and even more functionality. With this design, you can now fit a Yepp Maxi seat on the Boda Boda and still have room on the rear deck for an older child. The frame overall has a stiffer, even more solid, ride. Our design and engineering reflects that sturdiness; the rear rack, for example, is stronger and more heavily built than ever. Pack up both kids, a picnic, and a blanket, and you’re all set for a day at the park. Oh, and don’t forget, there’s still room to bring along the Flip Flop, which the big kid’s been loving.
Salsa Marrakesh Deore
$2,049.00
Marrakesh is Salsa's world-touring bike, designed for fully loaded, rugged exploration. It’s stable and predictable when heavily loaded, and durable enough to take on everything from the Turkish dust to mud from Thailand’s monsoon season. The lion’s share of that durability owes to the Cobra Kai steel frame that shrugs off choppy roads, heavy loads, and the foreseeable abuse any exploration bike will endure, all while remaining lightweight and lively. Its WTB rims and Maxxis tires love to roam where traditional touring bikes falter, and they’re spurred on by a 3x9 Deore drivetrain that allows you to fine-tune your cadence and speed, essential for loaded touring in hilly country. A pair of Hayes disc brakes keep control at your fingertips and instill confidence when terrain suggests otherwise, while Salsa’s handlebar, stem, and seatpost pair with a WTB saddle to keep your touch points comfortable in a variety of riding positions. Settle in and enjoy the adventure.
